Ioannis Kareliotis

Ioannis Kareliotis is a member of Grivalia Hospitality management team, being employed as Director since September 2017. He has the responsibility of the development and technical project management of the Company’s property portfolio as well as the support of new investments in Greece and abroad.

Ioannis has acquired over 20 years of experience in due diligence, risk management, financing, cost control & planning, design & permitting, project and construction management in building, as well as infrastructure & energy related large scale developments, with participation in projects of the leisure and hospitality sectors. Prior to his new tenure, he worked as an engineer of record and development consultant in Greece, USA, Asia and the MENA region, and has served as Project Manager of DIAGONIOS SA for the project Kosmopolis Park in Komotini, Technical Director for Ektasis Development SA, and Managing Director of IKCON enpm SA. Among others, he has completed private projects related to the tourism sector, including residential developments of non-permanent/seasonal use and various typologies, as well as related to development of historical buildings.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens with specialisation in Structural Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, with specialisation in Environmental Water Resources Management, where he was awarded the Regents Fellowship.
