Andreas Parmaxis

Andreas Parmaxis holds the position of Partner in Grivalia Management Company. In the period between 2014 – 2019, he was head of both the HR & Compliance – Risk Units of Grivalia Properties REIC. Prior to that, he served as the Internal Auditor of the Company for seven years. He actively participated in two share capital increases of Grivalia Properties’ as well as in all Company’s organizational restructuring.

Andreas is responsible for the effective management of the Human Resources of Grivalia Management Company, Grivalia Hospitality and its subsidiaries. His main responsibilities include the development of Human Resources strategies that are in line with the overall business strategy, the management of recruitment processes, the supervision of the performance appraisal system and the development of a competitive benefit plan. Furthermore, he is responsible for monitoring the Company’s and its personnel’s compliance with the internal and external regulatory framework that applies to the Company’s activities. Furthermore, he supports the B.o.D. and management in identifying, assessing and dealing with all issues that may create risks to the ordinary operations of the Company. As the Company’s data protection coordinator is also responsible for the Company’s conformance with the GDPR regulation.

In the past he has worked as Controller of the Shipping Company Marmaras Navigation, the Internal Auditor of Securities Company Merit A.E.P.E.Y. and as external partner of the Consulting Company Kantor Management Consultants.

Andreas holds a MSc. in Internal Auditing and Management from City University of London (CASS Business School) and a BSc in Public Administration from Panteion University of Athens. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
